MUSE nos da regalos por Navidad
Bueno, a todos los fans registrados en la web les ha llegado un e-mail. El contenido del e-mail se puede encontrar en la sección "Downloads" de la web nos aparece casi como parpadeando el regalito de Navidad Muser. Una vez que bajamos los 38 Mb (aprox.) tenemos un archivo en una de las carpetas que nos dice "-.-. .-.. ..- ." es un código morse significa "Hint" (pista). Ahora bien ¿cúal es la pista? una imagen en la cual se simbolizan 3 átomos de Hidrógeno, lo que nos lleva a pensar que la web es http://he-3.mu/ allí encontramos la siguiente imagen:
El código decifrado significa "HAPPY CHRISTMAS FROM MUSE. TO GET A FREE SCREENSAVER GO TO: HTTP://WWW.MUSE.MU/christmasscreensaver" (Feliz Navidad te desea Muse, para obtener un salvapantallas gratis ve a la web...).
Como ven esto de las pistas es original y entretenido, MUSE nos sorprende una vez más.
PD.: El salvapantallas disponible para MAC y PC, el video es da la canción Dead Star live in "V Festival" in Weston. El salvapantallas muestra a los chicos de Muse en el estudio (lamentablemente no tiene música lo que resulta obvio que aún no pretenden mostrar su trabajo) y podemos ver a Chris, a Dom y a Matt (con un gorrito de Navidad).
MUSE COLABORA CON TAKE A BOW EN EL TRAILER DE WATCHMEN
Creo que Muse cada vez sabe más la fuerza que tiene como grupo, se reafirma continuamente a nivel internacional, todos esperamos la gran escena de prestigio que sólo Muse nos otorga cada vez que se sube al escenario. Y ahora, esa magia tambien la encontramos en los cines. Hace unos días comentaba que Muse es banda sonora de "Crépusculo" con su canción "Supermassive Black Hole", en esta ocasión la elegida es "Take a Bow" , la cual aparece a la mitad del trailer de la película "Watchmen" la que aún no ha salido en cines. ¿Nos deberemos acostumbrar a escuchar a MUSE en los cines? Si es asi, por mi parte me alegra, la pasión que siento por las películas mezclada con una banda sonora impecable.
SOBRE EL NUEVO DISCO DE MUSE!!
ASI ES, AÚN NO PUEDO CREERLO
Después de arriesgar y acertar con la propuesta sonora de Black Holes And Revelations, su último álbum de estudio hasta la fecha, los británicos Muse han anunciado que ya están trabajando en su nuevo disco. ¡Ah! Y pretenden ser más ambiciosos que nunca, así que aquellos que les acusan de histriónicos ya pueden ir olvidándose (o afilando los cuchillos).
Según ha comentado Chris Wolstenholm, bajista de la banda, el disco podría estar en la calle para la segunda mitad de 2009, aunque si el proceso creativo lo requiriera, no descartan llevarlo hasta el 2010. Según sus propias palabras, su intención es hacer de éste el mejor álbum que han creado. Lo van a tener muy difícil para superar al Origin of Symmetry.
Por su parte, el singular Matthew Bellamy ha indicado que este disco incluirá el tema más duro que él ha compuesto, el cual está dividido en tres partes y al que considera más una sinfonía que una canción, con un largo porcentaje de la misma orquestal.

"Altough Supermassive Black Hole actually features on Twilight's soundtrack, Muse submitted another composition for the movie. Indeed, writer Stephenie Meyer being a big Muse fan, asked Matt Bellamy to write something for the piano-themed Bella's Lullaby. Composer Carter Burwell studied all kind of propositions and ended up discarding Muse's."
"My concern, as a composer, is to make the film as a whole compelling, dramatic, emotional and cinematic. But in this case other extraneous concerns quickly started to pile on, all driven by the fans of the book. The piano scene was added because Summit realized fans wanted to hear Edward play the melody referred to as "Bella's Lullaby," and each of those fans has their own idea of the tune. Because I hadn't started writing yet there was a musical vacuum into which other music started to be pulled. Rob improvised a tune for the shoot. Matthew Bellamy, of Muse, sent in his idea of "Bella's Lullaby." And countless readers and musicians sent in their own ideas or posted them on the internet. None of this made my job easier. "

Just thought I'd try and breath a little life back into this page and post an update.
Anyway, we're back in Devon working on a symphonic monster among other things and should hopefully start a bit of real recording in a couple of weeks. Definitely excited and already looking forward to playing this stuff on the road next year..
Its nice to be back down here working on music together which is something we haven't done for a very long time. Maybe about 8 years!.. Jesus, Its been too long. So we've been retracing some old steps and remembering where we came from.
There has also been another addition to the Wolstenholme family. Hopefully they will start their own band one day...
